The adjectives have to agree in number and in gender with the noun they are describing:
masculine vs feminine, singular vs plural
Generally adding an ‘S’ makes it plural. (or ‘ES’ if the adjective ends in a consonant instead of a vowel).
Generally an ‘O’ is a masculine ending and ‘A’ is the feminine ending. Adjectives that end in other letters can be masculine or feminine.
